The first floor contains
the offices of Mrs. Butts
and the owner. It also has the
kitchen and dinning hall.
On this floor the younger
non-working girls have their
beds. Then of course there's
the washroom, not exactly the
Ritz but the girls do their best.
The third floor contains
the beds of the working
girls. Angel has her own
little corner near the fire
escape. She's sort of the
Spot of the boarding house.
Their bathroom is a little better,
only because they have more
experience with cleaning
at their jobs.
Brooklyn Newsie Lodging House
Above is the first floor of the Brooklyn Newsie Lodging House.
The Second and Third floors are basically the same. Bunks for the Newsies.
Third Floor
The fourth floor is the end of the line. It's where Spot sleeps, as you can see.
